English Comedy Night – John McCombs (USA) – “Make a Way” Comedy Tour
After two years of lockdowns, performing in public parks for homeless people, more lockdowns, and countless arguments online with people from Florida, John McCombs is finally Making a Way back to Europe! The Make a Way Comedy show is his most outrageous collection of stories about surviving the United States Marine Corps, the hilarity of dating a foreigner who loves Taco Bell, and how living in Chicago is a mix between dodging bullets and enjoying brunch!
The Make a Way Comedy Show is a celebration of the human spirit that has endured the last two years and our ability to laugh even while the world falls apart. “Make a Way” isn’t just a slogan a military instructor yelled at John before shoving him headfirst through a thorn bush, it’s been what we’ve all been doing for the past two years! Find a way to catch the Make a Way Comedy Show coming to you!
Performing on the show:
Headliner: John McCombs (USA)
John is a 10 year veteran of comedy and a 4 year veteran of the Marine Corps. His unique perspective intertwines the absurdity of an aggressive military background with realizing his shortcomings as a man who relies on Youtube to learn how to fix things. John has performed in 15 different countries over two European tours and has opened for Michelle Wolf (Netflix, Comedy Central) Tim Meadows (SNL) and is a regular at clubs in the Chicagoland area
Opener: Zako Ryan (USA)
Zako is one of comedy’s fastest rising stars. Originally from South Carolina, Zako has lived in and experienced most regions of the US, giving him a unique perspective on cultural differences. Currently living in Chicago, a hotspot for soon to be known comedians, Zako can be seen weekly at Laugh Factory, Zanies, and other premiere clubs around the country. If you had cable in 2020, he was also the face of Purina Wet Cat Food. Seriously…
